Who we are

THE MIDLANDS MEDICAL ACADEMY LTD is a private limited company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 12037952), with its registered office at 1 Broad Lane, Wolverhampton, WV3 9BJ ("the Academy", "we", "us"). We provide CPD-accredited medical training, courses, conferences and events, and professional certification for healthcare professionals, and we publish research and news content on this website. You can contact us at info@midlandsacademy.co.uk.

Scope of these terms

These terms apply to your use of this website and to any course, conference, event, or certification service you register for or attend through us. By using the website or registering for a course or event, you agree to these terms.

Not medical advice

All educational content, courses, and materials provided by the Academy are intended as professional education for qualified and trainee healthcare professionals. Nothing on this website or in our courses constitutes medical advice for patients, and none of it should be relied upon as a substitute for professional clinical judgement.

Registration and booking

  • Submitting a registration or booking request does not guarantee your place — all requests are subject to confirmation by the Academy.
  • Fees, payment terms, and cancellation or refund conditions are specific to each course or event and will be communicated to you at the time of booking.
  • We may amend, postpone, or cancel a course or event where necessary, and will notify registrants as soon as reasonably possible.

CPD and certification

Where a course is described as CPD-accredited, accreditation is provided by the stated accrediting body for that specific course. Certificates issued by the Academy evidence your participation and/or successful completion of a course. A certificate does not, by itself, confer a licence or entitlement to practise — you remain responsible for meeting any requirements of your own professional or regulatory body.

Intellectual property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, course materials, and branding, is owned by or licensed to the Academy and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or otherwise use our content without our prior written permission.

Acceptable use

You agree to use this website lawfully and not to misuse it, including by attempting to gain unauthorised access, disrupting its operation, or submitting false or misleading information through our forms.

Third-party links

Our website may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those websites, and linking to them does not imply our endorsement.

Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of this website or our services.

Termination and changes

We may suspend or restrict access to the website, and may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the website after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
